Big Brother Glen
Glen really enjoys being a big brother. Yesterday he decided that it is time Will learn how to wrestle. Will was sitting on the floor of Glen's room looking out the door at daddy, minding his own business, in his own little world. Glen plops down behind him, lays down on his side and wraps Will up into a big bear hug, and flips him over top of him to the other side. They are laying there on the floor, Glen with a big smile on his face and Will with a look of "What the heck just happened?!". Of course, being the entertained mother that I am, I start laughing then that sets a chain reaction off. Will starts grinning, Glen laughs his big, loud laugh, and then that gets Will laughing. Every time Glen acts silly, makes funny sounds, or laughs, it really cracks Will up! Very funny! I can't wait till Will gets older and the wrestling starts for real! Whoo! Being the mother of two boys just might be the death of me!!
Today, Glen decided that Will does not crawl fast enough for him. Poor Will, no matter how hard he tries, he just can't keep up with, bouncing off the walls, Glen! He actually said "C'mon, Will, run! Run!" I don't think I'm getting it across to Glen very well the fact that Will is still a baby and moves slow. He proceeded to grab Will by the arm and pull him down the hallway! Poor William! The screaming didn't even register with Glen. I look in the hall and I see Glen latched onto Will's right arm with both hands, walking backwards towards his room. Will's arm was pulled up over his head and the first thought that popped into my mind was of a cowboy being drug behind a horse in an old western movie. After I pried Glen's hands off Will's arm, I got quite the chuckle out of it.
Not sure if I got through to Glen how fragile Will can be, because later tonight Glen tried it again when Will wasn't moving fast enough for him. I said something to him about not pulling Will by the arm, he seemed to walk away and think about it. He then came back and tried to push Will to his bedroom. Poor Glen and poor Will. Glen was just trying to get his little brother to his bedroom where he wanted him. Will now has a little knot on his forehead! Sam happened to be sitting in the living room when this happened. He thought Glen was being mean. Sam started to get onto Glen, and he assumed the shamed look (frown, looking down then at me, hands behind his back). Then I was able to get Sam on the same page of it being an accident. Sam asked Glen if it was an accident and he said yes, in a low, poutty mumble. We explained to Glen, again, how to be gentle with Will.
The flip switches and Glen is happy again. Seeing that I have Will in my arms Glen motions for me to follow him, then tells me to run, because I'm not moving fast enough. He goes into his room, jumps to the floor face down, then taps the floor in front of him very seriously. Apparently he wanted William in his room. After I sat Will on the floor of Glen's room, he told Will in a serious 3 year old tone "No touch baby! My toys!" By now I'm am rolling on the floor of my mind laughing my head off! I tell ya, there has not been a dull moment in this house since we brought William home almost 9 months ago! Gotta love it!

New and Exciting!
Will just started crawling a couple of days ago! He is using both knees, unlike his big brother Glen. He is really starting to get around. He is also getting his first tooth! I can see it getting ready to pop through the gum.
Glen is doing really well with his speech. He is making sentences and copying things that people say.
