William ate solid foods last night! We started with carrots. He seemed to really like them and he got the hang of it very quickly! Once he got the hang of pushing the food to the back of his mouth with his tongue, he started opening up really wide for the spoon and leaning forward. I'd say he was definitely ready. He even cried when it was gone. He did very well again tonight. He was opening wide and leaning forward again.
Glen is progressing with potty training. Earlier today, he went #2 in his potty then wiped himself till he was all clean. I did a double check and he did an excellent job, there was nothing left for me to clean up! Then at dinner, he said "Mommy poop". We ran to the bathroom and took his pull up off and he used the potty! That was the first time he wanted to use the potty with a pull up on! I'm so excited and proud of him! (in case you can't tell)

Not Feeling Well!
Poor Glen woke up extremely cranky this morning. We all know that when Glen starts acting sick he is usually pretty sick. I checked his temp. and he had a fever of 100. We went to an urgent care facility and found out that he still has the double ear infection he was diagnosed with on the 8th and he also has strep throat which the dr says by the time line he probably got from day care. My poor baby is on another antibiotic and instead of the prednisone we are trying ibuprofen. Hopefully, we get this knocked out before Thanksgiving.

Trip to FL!
We had a really good time in Fl. Sam and I got to go and watch the Falcon's Football game Thurs. night without the boys, and they won, so that made it even better!
Friday, we went out on the Homosassa River and out into the Gulf of Mexico on a boat. We had a good time. Didn't see much out in the Gulf, but we did see the monkeys on Monkey Island, and Manatee's up the river. A couple of Manatee's (a Momma and baby) came up to the boat and started chewing on the anchor rope. Apparently they do that a lot, they like the way the rope feels on their jaws from what I've been told. Then they played with us by pulling the boat by the anchor rope for a little ways. It was really cool. Sam jumped out of the boat and swam in the river for a little bit. Glen got his feet wet in the gulf. Will looked really silly in the life vest.
Saturday, the roads were all blocked off and we were unable to leave the house due to the seafood festival, so we went and checked that out. It was very crowded but fun. Then, we went back to the house and had a bonfire. After that Glen and us girls watched Toy Story 3, while the boys went down to the shed and had a few beers.
Sunday we stopped by Grandma Teresa and Grandpa Tom's in Homosassa, and visited with them before we drove over to Lakeland to see Grandma Nancy, Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Marilyn, Jake, Kasey, and Kally. We had a great time visiting with them. Haven't seen them in a very long time. At Grandma Nancy's Glen got to see some cows up close and hear them moo. After those visits, we went to Sarasota, to stay with Papa John and Grandma Wanda. That was fun too.
Monday we spent all day out by the pool and relaxing. Later that night, the boys watched Glen and Will so the girls could go over to Siesta Key and check out the beach. We stopped at a gift shop while we were there and some how Glen mad a killing even though he wasn't there! Not quite sure how that one happened!
Tuesday we got up early and headed back. The 8 hr drive took 11 almost 12! We got stuck in some accident traffic and of course had to stop to eat and feed Will. We were lucky the Old Girl got us home. The transmission started acting up again on our way down to Fl and screamed and fussed the whole trip. We were very worried we weren't gonna make it.
The X-Terra is now back in the shop and the guy said that the bearings had gone out again and he was gonna try something different this time. Luckily, it is still under warranty. Hopefully, this is the last time we have to deal with the transmission!

Dr's Visit
Will was supposed to go to the doctor for his 4 month check up yesterday, but since he has had a fever off and on the past few days and diarrhea he couldn't get his shots. So we are rescheduling that appointment. Glen was supposed to see the doctor for an allergy follow up and hearing test yesterday. Looks like the Zyrtec didn't work and he has two ear infections from his current allergy attack. So we are gonna have to go back for the hearing test as well. The doctor is gonna try Singulair and see if that works with the allergies. I do know that the Singulair is making Glen quite grumpy and aggressive. He actually hit William today. He never hits the baby. I have been advised to give it another two days max and if he is still acting like he needs a nap all the time then we are gonna have to find something else.
Both Sam and I are looking forward to our trip to Florida. I hope it turns out to be somewhat relaxing. Of course with an almost 3 yr old and a 4 month old I can only reasonably hope for so much before it starts sounding like a fantasy!

To Grandmother's House We Go!!
We went to Atl. today to see Grandma and Grandma Mac and Uncle John. Glen is now using names and he is coming along really well with his speech. We had a great time visiting with Grandma. I think she really enjoyed seeing us as well. She loved watching Glen run around and play and holding William. We had a good time at Grandma Mac's too. Glen did a lot of playing and I think Grandma Mac really enjoyed holding Will and watching Glen run around playing too. Will did a lot of smiling and laughing while we were there. It was nice to visit and catch up. We are all looking forward to the next visit.

Happy Halloween!!
Well we had a great Halloween weekend! Saturday night we went trunk or treating at a church with Stacey and Garrett. We had a great time! Glen really started to get the hang of trick or treating. I got him to say trick or treat, thank you, and happy Halloween! Of course, it didn't sound exactly like that when he said it but you could tell what he was trying to say. He did not want to go on the hay ride, but he did like looking at the tractor. I think he won't try stuff at night that he would normally try or do during the day. Glen's imagination is starting to work over time at night I think. He's not a big fan of the dark right now. I did, however, get him to go into a small haunted house. He did really well. The first boy jumped out and screamed, Glen just looked at him. I told Glen to scream back at him and of course at the top of his lungs he obeyed. So him and the goblin got into a screaming match. It was really very funny. The second goblin did scare him. He froze and went directly into his scared stance (biggest eyes you've ever seen and hand to his mouth) so the little boy took his mask of and said it's ok, it's not real see it's just me, after he took his mask off. So I picked the frozen Glen up and carried him out and let him watch the other kids come out laughing and smiling. I think he got it then, cause he did not seem phased in the least bit. Went to Publix too where he got some candy and Publix Silly Bands.
Sunday night, we went to Me'me' and Pe'pe's for dinner and trick or treating where he dressed up as Super Man and William was dressed as a teddy bear. Glen even tried to grab Will and called him the name that he calls teddy. Quite funny! Glen really got the hang of it! After the first house he was running back to the golf cart screaming more! Every house we went to he was ready to jump of the golf cart and run up to the door. He would ring the door bell and then knock on the door! I even caught him saying more one time instead of trick or treat! We had a blast and I wish I had brought the video camera because I did not think Glen was gonna have that much fun going door to door!

First Corn Maze!!
Today we went to Jaemor Farms. We had such a good time! It was Mommy, Glen, Will, Me'me', Pe'pe', and Uncle Nick. We had BBQ sandwiches for lunch (Glen had a hot dog) with chips and potato salad that was awesome, Uncle Nick tried the Brunswick stew. Not sure how good that was as Uncle Nick did not do a whole lot of raving. After lunch we went for a hay ride minus the hay. I guess they were worried about allergies as the guy driving the tractor called it the "Hypo-Allergenic Hay Ride" They really had a sense of humor up there. There was even a "Pumpkin Tree" and a "Melon Tree" (they tied tiny pumpkins and melons to two trees to see how many people noticed). Quite funny! After the hay ride we braved the corn maze. We even made it out alive with no search party needed! We didn't attempt the map till closer to the end and that was the picture that was taken with the camera. Uncle Nick the Orienter lead us out safely. We then attempted the mass of people in the market area and got some apples and cider and apple bread and pumpkin cake. We got some homemade peach ice cream too, and boy was that delicious!!
This will definitely become an annual event with us!

Pictures!!
Took the boys to Picture People yesterday for some photos. They turned out really good and the boys were both such good boys!! Well, for the most part anyway. Glen did do a lot of running around, and occasionally he would take off out the door and down the walkway at the mall. But he thought it was fun and I really can't be too upset with him. He has so much energy and to ask him to sit still for pictures is about the only sitting I can ask him to do. Especially, when Will is getting a lot of attention from the photographer for his pictures. I definitely will have to have someone with me the next time we go. I got three really great pictures that I can't wait to put on the wall. I only wish that I had the computer software, flash equipment, and backgrounds so I could take the pictures myself. Tomorrow, we are off to Jaemor Farms in Alto, Ga for the corn maze, and pumpkins!!!

Growing Up!
William is really coming a long way this month!! He started reaching for things last week. He will lay in his pack n play and reach for a whale that hangs where he can reach it. He actually grabbed a hold to it and was pulling it! Tonight, I put him on his belly for tummy time in his crib. He started trying to grab the little ducks on his sheets. If I remember correctly, Glen did the same thing. I put some toys on the mattress for him to reach for and sure enough he grabbed one. He really started having a good time, then he flipped over onto his back! First time tonight! He looked so surprised. I'm sure this is what went through his mind "What just happened?! Where did that toy go and why am I looking at the ceiling all of a sudden?!" He then did it two more times that I was able to video. I will post the video at the end of the month when I update the photos and the videos.

Trip to Atlanta
We went to Atlanta yesterday to see Uncle Nick. On the way there, I asked Glen if he was ready to see Uncle Nick, Glen then said Nick. He is learning new words everyday! While we were hanging out with Uncle Nick, his dog Riley, was chasing Glen around the loft. Riley kept trying to playfully bite the jeans on Glen's butt. Uncle Nick told Riley to quit biting Glen's butt, then Glen started saying, my butt. It was so funny! We went to the park for a little while then went back to the loft to feed Will. We had a really good time and look forward to doing it again!

Good Time!
Glen went to his first birthday party on Sunday. His friend Cole turned 4. The party was at Memorial Park in Athens. There is a little zoo there of local animals that were rescued. We had a really good time! Glen got to see a black bear, a opossum (which he got to pet!), a screech owl, bald eagles, red tail hawks, turtles, and a snake (that he got to touch also!). He really had a good time running around with Cole too. Those two never stop when they are together! I think they both had scraped arms when we left, which lets you know they had a good time! Glen was on his best behavior too. William was a big hit too. I did end up carrying him the whole time, but the stroller came in handy for carrying Cole's gifts around the park! I think Will is definitely ready for the front carrier!

2010 Petit Le-Mans
Had a really good time at the Petit Le-Mans race. I went to the night practice on Thursday night. That was really cool. Dad and I went to turn 6 to see the fire flash out of the exhaust when they down shift to go into the turn. I had a great time. Today, Glen and I went up to Road Atlanta to watch the big race with Me'me' and Pe'pe'. Glen had an excellent time. The grin did not come off of his face for a while. Surprisingly, he really liked his ear protection. He does not like loud noises, and when he put those on, he just smiled and would pull them away a little then put them back. Glen went home with Me'me' at 2pm to take a nap and spend the night. I got to stay and watch more of the race. We saw a car hit the wall and lift off the ground. The car got really smashed up but the driver seemed to be ok. I thought it was funny how all the spectators ran to the fence to see what they could see as soon as it happened.
Maybe we will get to go again next year!

Racin' Time!!
Glen and I went to Road Atlanta yesterday evening to register for the Petite Le-Mans race. We are very excited for Glen's first race. Me'me' and Pe'pe' are letting us join them at the track on Saturday for the big race. I think Glen is really gonna enjoy watching the cars. After we registered we went drove around in the golf cart looking at the track. We got to see two cars doing a photo shoot on the track. When we went to see the pits we got to see the cars come in. Glen really liked getting a close up view of the cars. I think Glen's favorite part though was the dirt parking lot. He did a lot of running, screaming, and playing in the dirt.

What's New!!
It looks like Will is now taking 6 oz bottles. He kind of acts like he still wants more, but I'm afraid that if I give him more than 6 oz he will throw it up. He did that when he was taking 5 oz and wanted more before he was ready. His skin is looking a lot better. He is now "picture pretty" as I like to call it. He is going 8 hours in between bottles at night now, and it is wonderful bliss!!
Glen has become quite the "talking parrot". He repeats a lot of what we say now, and likes to talk a lot when not around strangers. Last night, we had left over enchilada's. I asked Glen if he wanted a burrito for dinner, and he said burrito! New people is really the only way to get him to stop talking! It's great! We were so worried about his speech. He is still a little behind, but we are working on it. He still loves Will. I think he is gonna be a really great big brother to Will when he gets older.
Sam did enjoy the heck out of his long weekend. He didn't want to go back to work yesterday, but then again, who does after having 5 days off. He was able to spend one of the days pressure washing the house and we went to lunch at Sonny's, on a week day. It was great! Glen enjoyed his daddy being home to play with him! I enjoyed Sam being home and entertaining Glen!

My Boys!
I had to take Will back to the doctor again yesterday. He has an infection in his eye from his tear duct getting infected from the cold he had: thrush, probably from Glen sticking Will's pacifiers in his mouth when we're not looking then putting them back in the pack 'n play and then us putting them in Will's mouth; and looks like the rash on his head that isn't going away but getting worse is from the fragrance in the creamy baby oil I've been putting on his head to try and make it better. I can't find anything that I can use on his head that doesn't have fragrance so we are gonna try the Cetaphil I've been using as lotion. My poor baby William.
Glen used the potty at school yesterday! All day!! He was dry all day, except for when he woke up from his nap, but that is to be expected. I'm so proud of my big boy for using the potty!
Sam is getting ready to start a five day weekend. I think he is secretly really excited about this but doesn't want anyone to know just how excited!
I'm trying to get this house back in order and cleaned! Maybe then I can enjoy the weekend with Sam!

2 Month Check Up
Will and I went to the Dr for his 2 month check up yesterday. Will is 23 inches long and 10lbs 5oz. He is on the 25th percentile and growing well! His head control is getting better. The hypoallergenic formula is working and we got more free samples from the dr's office. That is such a big help. When we tried to put rice in it to thicken it up so he wouldn't spit so much up, he got another rash. Dr. Lameda thinks he probably was having a reaction to the rice cereal. We also found out that Will has a red dye allergy, due to breaking out when products with red 33 are used on his skin. So we are trying a hypoallergenic baby wash. Hopefully it works. I will find out tomorrow when he gets his bath. He got 3 shots and 1 oral vaccine yesterday. He cried for just a little while after-wards and then slept the rest of the day.
Not much else to report on the baby boy. All he has been doing lately is sleeping, eating, and pooping.
I started to make a list of the words and sentences Glen says. I have been adding to it throughout the day as he says things. The list is a lot longer than I thought! He is doing very well. He might be caught up by pre-school.

Labor Day
We went down to the farm to visit with family on Sunday. We had a nice visit, but missed Memama. William got to meet Aunt Donna, Uncle Joe, Aunt Debi, and Uncle Bob. We had a great southern meal with lots of veggies and talking. The weather was really nice so we spent a lot of time out on the porch chit chatting. Sam attempted to take the X-Terra down to the pond. Him and Glen had a great time trail blazing from what I hear. They came back with a few twigs stuck here and there and some spiders in the car, but they had fun so I guess it was worth it.
The army worms are back! Time to start another battle! We finally got the mower fixed only to find that the cable they replaced was left resting on the belt they replaced. The belt chewed through the cable covering and started to chew through the cable. Not to mention they charged us for an air filter they did not replace. They took two weeks to change the transmission along with the belt and the cable. I took the mower back to them this morning and they are going to replace the belt and cable, and refund us 10 percent of the original cost for my trouble. I had to pry that 10 percent out of their hands, but got it none the less.
Stay tuned for more after William's 2 month check up.

Dinner
Andy came over for dinner last night while he was here in Ga for some training. We had a good time visiting. He got to feed and hold the baby and Glen had a blast playing with him. It was a really good night. The coconut creme pie did not turn out well at all. I'm not sure what I did wrong, maybe I didn't simmer it on the stove long enough before I put it in the pie crust. I think I'm gonna have to try it again. Maybe a different recipe.

What a Day!!
Well Glen went poo poo in the potty 2 more times today, and he was so proud of himself. Of course I'm one proud mama too!
Took the boys to the dr's today to find out what's going on with them. Glen has an ear infection to go with the stuffy, runny nose. William's stuffy, runny nose doesn't seem to be a problem yet. He is however apparently allergic to milk protein and soy. The soy formula and the milk based sensitive formula gave him a bad rash and bad gas and diarrhea. So now we are trying nutramagin, the expensive stuff. Hopefully this will work. He has been really miserable the past few days.

Potty Training 103
Woohoo!! Glen is progressing through the potty training stages!! I was dusting and Glen came and got me and said poop. My first thought was that Buddy had gone to the bathroom in the house. Then I remembered when Glen pooped in his room and that was my next thought. So I followed Glen out of my bedroom and instead of going into his room, he turned into the bathroom, said poop again and pointed to the potty!! Needless to say, I got really excited! So we did a poo poo dance in the bathroom and celebrated. Letting Glen run around the house naked has been the best potty training technique that I have come across. He is now covered in the stickers he got as a reward and we put some big boy underpants on him to see if he will go in the bathroom and pull his pants down to go.
We'll see, wish us luck!!

Family Gathering
Yesterday, we went to the big Atl for a family get together. William got to meet Aunt Carol, Uncle Billy, Grandma, Aunt Erin, Uncle Richard, Auburn, and Mary for the first time. He also got to see Grandma Mac and Uncle John again. We all had a good time visiting with family we don't get to see on a regular basis. Glen even used the big potty while we were there. We are so proud of him. I will post pictures at the end of the month.

The battle was won!!
The battle of the Army Worm Invasion of the bermuda lawn wars was won today, with an astonishing performance by King Green!! The army worms tried to take over our lawn about 2 - 3 weeks ago. It was very overwhelming at first when we couldn't figure out why our new sod was dying. They came in the night and were never seen, but a battalion of worms somewhere were not cautious enough in their quest to take over the lawns and were taken as prisoners of war. This enabled scientists to find ways to take them out and defeat them. Because of this, we were able to use this information to our advantage and succeeded. This was a great victory in this long and ongoing war that takes place every year from spring to early fall! Tonight we will celebrate with fine dining and dancing!!!
Stay tuned for reports from the next battle that will surely take place. What will it be? Constant rain so that the grass can not be mowed, invasion of billbug, cinch bugs, fire ants, grubs. The list goes on and on. It is a hard fought war but well worth the endless battles to drive up the street when you come home and see a beautiful, green lawn.
We will prevail!!

Under the Weather!
Poor William has his first cold at 6 1/2 weeks old. Glen and I picked the cold up from somewhere, probably Wal-mart, despite the fact that I continuously used hand sanitizer while we were there. We did our best to not give this bug to the little guy, but it just didn't work out. Glen and I are feeling better but poor Will just started with the symptoms yesterday. Hopefully he gets over it as quick as Glen did. He seems to be handling it fairly well. He is still eating like a champ and no fever, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
Oh and while I was typing this, Glen just ran to the bathroom to sit on the potty and do his business!! Isn't that exciting!!

Potty Basics!
So I finally got Glen into his big boy under ware. I let him run around naked for a little while and then I told him it was time to get dressed and there were no arguments. We only went through 3 pairs of under ware today. I did get lucky, when it was time for a nap we put him in pull ups and when he woke up before we got him back into big boy under ware he pooped. Yeah!! It was not in the big boy under ware so I got to throw it away!! Not looking forward to the first poopy under ware!

Potty Training 102!
Glen is getting really good at using the potty when he is running around in the buff!! We attempted big boy under ware today. He did really well! He was standing in the living room and started yelling potty over and over while running to the bathroom. He pulled the plastic pants off and his under ware down very quickly then sat on the potty and peed! I checked his under ware and they were just a little wet, so he put the two together! He did great!! Now, getting him into another pair of under ware is a challenge. He is absolutely refusing to put them on. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has them.

Boy Oh Boy!!
Well a lot has happened since the last update!! William Allen is finally here! I'm sure everyone knows he was born on the 4th of July. He was 7lbs 7oz, & 19 1/2 inches long. And that was 23 days early!! I'm not sure how big he would have been if he went to the due date or past!! Anyway, he is growing quite fast. At his last check up with the dr he weighed 8lbs 14 oz, & 21 inches long. He is really starting to try and pick his head up now too. His eyesight has definitely improved as he is now making eye contact with us. He likes to look at his big brother too. Will was having an allergic reaction to the soy formula so the dr switched him over to the lactose free milk based and the rash seems to be clearing up. The dr said it could take 2 weeks for the rash to go away.
Glen loves his little brother, as you can tell by the picture. He likes to hold him and touch his feet, hands, head and face. Occasionally he will hold the bottle and help me feed Will. He is also starting to use the potty more and more! If I let him run around with no bottoms on, he just goes to the bathroom and sits on the potty when he has to pee. Occasionally he will let me know he is going potty. Usually though, I go in to check the potty and he has peed. And some days he won't use the potty at all. Glen has moved up to Pre-School one in daycare. He seems to really like it. He doesn't get to see his girlfriend Eva as much but they do see each other at snack and lunch time. I was told that he stands at the door to his classroom hollering out her name before they sit down to eat. When I picked him up on Thurs. he was in the classroom with her and gave her a very big hug and kiss when we left. I'm gonna have my hands full with this boy when he gets older I think!
Sam has been working very hard this summer. Lots of over time and the heat is really doing him in! He hanging in there and ready for the fall and a vacation! I've been trying to get back into a rhythm and a schedule. So far, so good. I have a lot of catching up to do on the scrapbooking and of course on here! The Little Engine that Could's mantra has become my own. If that little train can do it, so can I!!

It's A Boy!!
Went to the Dr today for the monthly check-up. Since we were unable to find out last time we tried one more time! Yes, it's a boy!! My two sons! We are very excited, now we don't have to try and come up with a girl's name! This little one's name will be William Allan McMahon. We are set on all the clothes because I kept Glen's just in case! Glad I did.
We will keep everyone up to date on the baby news!

Busy Weekend!
On April 1, Glen had an Easter egg hunt at school. He really enjoyed it. His teacher said he got the most eggs of everyone and that when a kid dropped their basket Glen would run over and start picking up the eggs to put in his basket! The teacher said that when she explained to him that they were the other little boys eggs he would put them in the other little boys basket.
On Friday, April 2nd we went to Monroe to do the Passion Walk with Me`me` and Pe`pe`. There was a lot of walking and it was really hot, but Glen did really well. At one point he leaned forward on his stroller to get a better look at the actors. Towards the end, though, he started getting antsy and had to go to the car. It was 1 1/2 hours long so I am surprised he made it as long as he did. After the Passion Walk we all went out to an early dinner for my birthday. Glen got his first Shirley Temple! Wow! Did not realize how much sugar is in one of those! Glen definitely had energy to burn till he hit the sugar crash. Luckily we were in the car when that happened and he fell asleep.
On Easter Sunday, Glen got a tricycle from the Easter Bunny! He was quite excited, he has been wanting one for a while now. Then we went over to Me`me` and Pe`pe`s house for lunch and an egg hunt. Glen really likes the egg hunts! We could tell when he saw an egg because he would move a little faster to get to it before anyone else did (even though he was the only one hunting!) Then it was time for a nap and after the nap we went for a long golf cart ride!

Potty Training 101
Glen used the potty for the first time today!! We tried pull ups but he was treating them as diapers, so I decided that we would be diaper free! Glen ran around in nothing but a t-shirt for a while then he started to pee. I said hold on Glen, then took him to his potty and finished peeing! We then dumped it in the big toilet and I let him flush it! We made a really big deal about it!
He was diaper free most of the day. I waited and waited for him to pee again and he didn't so I put him in a pull up for lunch and we went to try the potty after lunch and he had peed in the pull up. Then it was time to get ready for a nap and I put him in a pull up and he pooped. I think he caught on to me waiting for him to pee with his diaper off so he was waiting for the pull up to be put on. That little boy is smart.
I will persevere though! Eventually, I will prevail in this epic of potty training! Wish me luck!

Big Day for Glen!!
Glen got his first school pictures taken today! They took a class picture and individual pictures! We will definitely be buying some and distributing them to the family! He also ate chocolate pudding today, which he refused to eat in the past. Either he was really hungry or he is starting to try new things. He also ate all of his green beans at lunch today, which he has also refused in the past. He would attempt to eat them, then spit them out! They took pictures at daycare for proof! They will be posted with the monthly pictures at the end of the month.
He is growing up so quick!

Another New Word!
Woo Hoo! Glen has another word added to his vocabulary! He said "juice" this morning! I got the milk out and the juice out and asked him if he wanted milk or juice. He pointed to the juice and I said "juice" then he said "juice", then I got really excited and had to post about it. His vocabulary is growing a lot since he started daycare in January! Daycare really is a good thing for an only child!

Poor Glen!
My baby boy has been sick for quite a while now, runny nose, coughing and the occasional fever. We went back to the dr today because he just doesn't seem to be getting better. The poor boy has an ear infection in both ears and a sinus infection. You wouldn't know it by looking at him. He was outside playing today like nothing bothered him. He was hitting a ball off of a tee, and riding his power wheels four wheeler. He occasionally gets cranky and now I know why. He has started his antibiotic and hopefully he will be healthy and back to his old self in no time.

Yeah! Fresh Paint!
We finally got the inside of our house painted! The living room is no longer the awful dark green with cream trim, it is now a very light shade of green with white trim. It is so much brighter in here now! We went with a darker color yellow for the kitchen and the hall is the same color as the living room. Glen's new room is a beige color. I think it is going to look good in a sports theme. Our bedroom is now a khaki color and looks really good! I am in love with my house again!
We hope to get Glen into his new room soon. I want to hang a sports border and clean the carpet before we start moving his stuff in. Then we will buy him a new dresser and hang some Ga Tech pictures up there. We are planning on going to the spring football game and we want to get a team pic signed by the players while we are there. I think it will be a great addition to his room.

Is it a boy or a girl?
Yes! It is one of the two, not sure which one since this child is already being stubborn and hasn't even been born yet! The baby had it's legs bent up underneath it so the dr could not get a look at what we were having. So for now, yes it is one of the two. I go back to the dr's office in 4 weeks and we will try another ultra sound. Maybe second times the charm. If not we are going under the conclusion that the baby wants to remain a surprise!
Glen spent the night with Me`me` and Pe`pe` last weekend and had a really good time! He got his first tee ball kit, and will hit the ball once then wants to be a typical boy and go and find other things to hit with the wonderful object called a bat.
We are getting the house painted this thurs and fri. It is gonna look really good and we are very excited about changing the colors in the house. We are moving Glen to the other bedroom and decorating it with Ga Tech pictures, and sports theme. We will be putting the baby in the room that is already decorated for a baby. Very convenient.

So Much Has Happened!
No your eyes do not deceive you, the time stamp is correct. Sleep has been elusive to me lately. I was lying awake when I was suddenly inspired to update the blog page!
Glen is still growing like a weed! He is up to a whopping 26 lbs. and I believe he is somewhere around 3 ft. His vocabulary is ever increasing. He now uses the words mama and mommy interchangeably. Sometimes I think he likes to make sure that I am still going by the same name, usually when I am having a conversation with another adult and sometimes just for the fun of it. He likes to stand next to me tapping me saying mama over and over, then when that doesn't get my attention he switches over to mommy. When I finally acknowledge him and say yes pumpkin, he smiles and then proceeds to run away. When we are riding in the car this is a favorite game of his. When I say yes pumpkin and look at him (when Sam is driving of course!), he smiles and then turns his head away. His words include but are not limited to you, me, mine, yeah, buddy, gidget, o, b, d, boy, bear, ball, fork, off, on, and help. Of course these are in childese so, it's not always easy to get what he is saying. He loves his puzzles and his books, and to throw every toy he has in the living room in a way that makes it look like the occasional tornado or hurricane came through.
Glen started going to daycare twice a week in January. The first week was really fun, then when the second week arrived and Glen realized this was a permanent situation the crying started. Boy was that one of the hardest things to do. Just turn around and walk out leaving him with someone who was not his mommy. But by the end of last month we turned the corner! No more crying, just an unsure look on his face. Of course when it is time to go home, he wants nothing to do with that! Sam and I figured this would be good for him to prepare of Pre-K so hopefully will not be dealing with separation issues at that time. Wish us luck!
We found out that we will be expecting our next bundle of joy in July! The due date is July 27. Sam and I will be going for our 20 week ultrasound on Monday. Yes, there will be updates. Hope everyone is doing well and check back again for baby updates!
