Yesterday, the boys got to see Santa and get their picture taken with him! It took Glen a few minutes to warm up to him, but they both sat in his lap for a picture with no problems. We went by Lowe's and got a Christmas gift for Daddy and a new toilet seat for Glen. This one has a toddler seat built into it and it folds up so an adult can still use it too. This is great, because now we can put the potty back together for Will. We finally decorated the tree last night! We put all of our annual family ornaments on it, including the new one we bought yesterday for this year, and all of the George Jensen ornaments that Mims and Pips have given us over the years. It looks pretty good! I mailed the Christmas cards yesterday, now I just have to get the birthday cards out. Sorry everyone who has a birthday this month, some of them are going to be belated cards.
Until next time.....

Kids!
Well, Will ate his first crayon today! Violet-red. He had a nice purple color all around his mouth! He must not like the taste of paper, because he only ate the tip. It wasn't one of those small crayons either, it was one of those big chunky crayons!
Glen got a birthday present from Great Grandma Nancy today, it was a package of a bunch of little race cars. When I say a bunch, I mean a BUNCH! 40 to be exact and a vinyl bag to put them all in. When Glen opened the gift he said "Holy Cow! That's a lot of cars! I love cars! Thank you!" He is currently carrying the bag full of cars around very protectively! Awesome gift G Grandma Nancy! The bag really pulled it all together for him. He loves things he can carry around. Maybe now he will put the yellow paper plates and yellow plastic cups from his birthday party down for a while!

Hilton Head Trip!
After the wedding, we went to Hilton Head Island, NC with Mom and Curt. It was Glen and Will's first time to the beach! We had such a good time! Glen and Will loved the giant sandbox and the water. We were only there for two nights, but it was long enough to really enjoy ourselves! The pictures really turned out fantastic!
The Big Day!!
On Friday, November 11, 2011, at 5:30pm, Nick and Jaclyn were wed. It was a beautiful ceramony in Piedmont Park at Magnolia Hall. Glen surprised us all and walked Reily down the aisle perfectly! The wedding was perfect, and the bride and groom were beautiful. I have never seen a more excited bride! Jaclyn was going through every emotion at record speed and then repeating them. I saw her laugh, cry, smile, jump up and down with excitement! They just looked so in love! They are currently on a cruise for their honeymoon and I'm sure they are having a fantastic time! Welcome to the family Jax! We love you and your family and are so glad that you are now a part of our lives! Nick could not have done better!
Rehearsal Dinner
On Thursday, November 10, 2011, Glen and I went to Nick and Jaclyn's wedding rehearsal. That was something else! We got there 45 mins late, because we couldn't figure out how to get into Piedmont park! We finally found everyone else and there was not much time left for rehearsal. It did not look like Glen was gonna cooperate for the wedding. He was supposed to walk Nick and Jax's dog, Reily down the aisle and I ended up doing the walking at the rehearsal! I was very worried about the wedding day! After rehearsal, we all went to Endive Catering for the rehearsal dinner. It was a good time had by all!!! Glen was very well behaved.
Family Dinner for Nick & Jax
On Wednesday, November 9, 2011, we went to dinner at mom and dad's house in honor of Nick and Jaclyn's wedding. The Guests of Honor were there with Sam, Glen, Will, & I; Mom & Dad; Grandma Nancy; Mims and Pips; and Aunt Charmaine and her daughter Sandy. It was a great dinner and we all had fun catching up and talking.
Long Time, No Post!
Sorry about the long silence! A lot has happened since the last post. Glen has gotten a big boy bed! He has buzz light year sheets and a Thomas the Train comforter. Will has had his first birthday, he is such a big boy now. He loves to run with his brother, and kick balls. The two get along great sometimes, and not so great other times. I guess just like typical brothers. Glen played t-ball in the spring and I had the honor of coaching the team. It was a lot of fun, and the whole team learned a lot. Then Glen played soccer in the fall, and I had the honor once again of being the coach. The teamed learned a lot again. Even Glen got to score a goal! He was not so into it, I think next year when he is older it will be different. For Halloween, Glen dressed up as Lightning McQueen, and Will was the Incredible Hulk. Glen really enjoyed getting all the candy! It took us a while to get him in his costume but once we did he had a good time.

Mental Picture of the week
Glen woke up from a bad dream tonight. I went in to check on him and asked him if something hurt he said no. I asked if he had a bad dream he said yes and that he wanted his night light off. Then says "Mommy down".
Here's a metal picture for ya: Glen, Glen's babies aka blankie, frog, puppy, teddy, a small lighting McQueen pillow, and cinnamon, and a 5' 7" 150 + lb (no you're not getting my exact weight) mother all in a toddler bed. Yes, that's what I said, TODDLER BED. I will have a toddler bed made of steel for sell shortly, any takers?
new toddler bed: $50.00
ten visits to the chiropractor: $150.00
having your 3 yr old snuggle bug you: Priceless

Big Brother Glen
Glen really enjoys being a big brother. Yesterday he decided that it is time Will learn how to wrestle. Will was sitting on the floor of Glen's room looking out the door at daddy, minding his own business, in his own little world. Glen plops down behind him, lays down on his side and wraps Will up into a big bear hug, and flips him over top of him to the other side. They are laying there on the floor, Glen with a big smile on his face and Will with a look of "What the heck just happened?!". Of course, being the entertained mother that I am, I start laughing then that sets a chain reaction off. Will starts grinning, Glen laughs his big, loud laugh, and then that gets Will laughing. Every time Glen acts silly, makes funny sounds, or laughs, it really cracks Will up! Very funny! I can't wait till Will gets older and the wrestling starts for real! Whoo! Being the mother of two boys just might be the death of me!!
Today, Glen decided that Will does not crawl fast enough for him. Poor Will, no matter how hard he tries, he just can't keep up with, bouncing off the walls, Glen! He actually said "C'mon, Will, run! Run!" I don't think I'm getting it across to Glen very well the fact that Will is still a baby and moves slow. He proceeded to grab Will by the arm and pull him down the hallway! Poor William! The screaming didn't even register with Glen. I look in the hall and I see Glen latched onto Will's right arm with both hands, walking backwards towards his room. Will's arm was pulled up over his head and the first thought that popped into my mind was of a cowboy being drug behind a horse in an old western movie. After I pried Glen's hands off Will's arm, I got quite the chuckle out of it.
Not sure if I got through to Glen how fragile Will can be, because later tonight Glen tried it again when Will wasn't moving fast enough for him. I said something to him about not pulling Will by the arm, he seemed to walk away and think about it. He then came back and tried to push Will to his bedroom. Poor Glen and poor Will. Glen was just trying to get his little brother to his bedroom where he wanted him. Will now has a little knot on his forehead! Sam happened to be sitting in the living room when this happened. He thought Glen was being mean. Sam started to get onto Glen, and he assumed the shamed look (frown, looking down then at me, hands behind his back). Then I was able to get Sam on the same page of it being an accident. Sam asked Glen if it was an accident and he said yes, in a low, poutty mumble. We explained to Glen, again, how to be gentle with Will.
The flip switches and Glen is happy again. Seeing that I have Will in my arms Glen motions for me to follow him, then tells me to run, because I'm not moving fast enough. He goes into his room, jumps to the floor face down, then taps the floor in front of him very seriously. Apparently he wanted William in his room. After I sat Will on the floor of Glen's room, he told Will in a serious 3 year old tone "No touch baby! My toys!" By now I'm am rolling on the floor of my mind laughing my head off! I tell ya, there has not been a dull moment in this house since we brought William home almost 9 months ago! Gotta love it!

New and Exciting!
Will just started crawling a couple of days ago! He is using both knees, unlike his big brother Glen. He is really starting to get around. He is also getting his first tooth! I can see it getting ready to pop through the gum.
Glen is doing really well with his speech. He is making sentences and copying things that people say.
